Representative Experience:  Class 1 Rail Carriers - Site Location Research, Land Acquisition and Development Activities

Cinnabar Southwest, LLC (CSW) is a leading provider of site research and land acquisition services performed on behalf of the U.S. Class 1 railroads and short lines across a multitude of disciplines.  Projects initiated in 2004 and ongoing in multiple U.S. states, Canada and Mexico, include and have involved the following departments with Class 1 carriers:

Since its inception in 2004, CSW has helped the Class 1's obtain over 1,000 acres across the U.S. for uses such as multi-modal Logistics Parks; Intermodal/Auto Transfer Facilities; expansions of existing rail operations and redevelopments of buildings and other structures for public/private use.  CSW is also actively involved in right-of-way acquisitions and corridor expansion projects taking place in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas, and in other potential rail yard relocation projects in Arizona and California.  These projects often involve obtaining commercial, industrial and residential properties and coordinating their relocations; and CSW achieves these tasks expediently and cost effectively for its clients.  The successes of CSW's efforts allowed a major Class 1 carrier to accelerate its yard expansion and reconstruction activies well ahead of schedule.  These activities and the depth of communications and due diligence efforts they frequently require means that CSW is in constant contact with community officials, government agencies, brokers, engineers, surveyors, environmental firms, title companies and others to achieve project objectives on or ahead of schedule.
