Negotiations and Acquisition

Cinnabar agents are trained and experienced in negotiating with landowners and are highly successful in achieving the voluntary sale of land and/or land rights needed for projects. Our agents meet face-to-face with landowners at any time, at any place - at night or on weekends - always at the convenience of the landowner. Cinnabar agents are prepared to negotiate for any length of time in order to successfully complete the acquisition process. We negotiate in good faith, place proper emphasis on the concerns of landowners and work hard to resolve difficult issues.

Although our client may have the power of eminent domain and that it may be necessary to disclose to or discuss this with landowners, our agents are trained and cautioned to never use the threat of condemnation as a hammer to get a signature. However, in the event voluntary negotiations come to an impasse and condemnation proceedings are required, Cinnabar’s accurate and detailed project logs, including records of all contact with landowners, are valuable assets in the legal process. We are prepared to continue our service to the client for the duration of the legal process and assure the availability of our agents the client attorneys and to the courts.
