EMPLOYMENT WITH CINNABAR
The growing demands of developing technology, as well as the replacement of aging infrastructure throughout North America, means billions of dollars will be devoted to the acquisition of rights-of-way in the coming years. The need for experienced, professional right-of-way agents has never been greater.
Cinnabar Service Company constantly is in search of qualified, experienced land and right of way acquisition personnel.
It is the policy of Cinnabar Service Company to abide by all federal, state and local laws prohibiting employment discrimination based solely on a person’s race, color, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, physical disability, mental disability, age, military status or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran, marital status, registered domestic partner or civil union status, gender (including sex stereotyping and gender identity or expression), medical condition (including, but not limited to cancer related or HIV/AIDS related), sexual orientation, or any other protected status, except where a reasonable, bona fide occupational qualification exists.
Cinnabar personnel are employed in an employer/employee relationship. Cinnabar personnel are not independent contractors and are therefore subject to all withholding requirements of W-2 employees.
Cinnabar personnel are paid twice monthly. All employees are required to submit time sheets and expense reports at pre-determined times for each payroll cycle.
Per diem allowances for lodging, meals and incidental expenses may be paid on job assignments away from an employee’s permanent residence. Per diem allowances are strictly governed by federal tax laws and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations which specifically state that during the term of a job, per diem allowances may become taxable as wages. Employees with no permanent residence address may be ineligible for per diem allowances.
Cinnabar offers a medical insurance plan for eligible employees, their spouses and/or their dependents. All eligible employees may become a part of the insurance group on the first day of the month following ninety (90) calendar days of continuous employment. Payroll deductions are made on a pre-tax basis.
Cinnabar employees may elect to enhance their benefits through participation in the Section 125 Flexible Fringe Benefits Plan. This plan allows the employee to establish a “savings account” for certain medical expenses and/or for child care costs. Premiums for these benefits are deducted on a pre-tax basis.
Cinnabar offers a voluntary 401(k) retirement savings plan. Employee contributions, which are completely voluntary, are deducted on a pre-tax basis. Each participant in the plan may direct the investment of her/his account from among several professionally managed funds.
