Demolition and Property Security
Demolition and Site Clearance
Cinnabar has managed the removal of scores of structures on acquired parcels by sale, demolition or otherwise. Today, virtually all demolition and site clearance requires some level of involvement by environmental experts. National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits are required for all construction projects involving the disturbance of five or more acres of land. The demolition process includes dust and debris control and proper disposal of debris, including hazardous materials.
Moving of structures is conducted using proper methods and procedures for placement of structural supports for raising, securing, transporting and unloading, in full compliance with state and/or local laws and regulations. It is important that the company coordinating demolition and clearance be aware that state and/or local laws are in place that govern the moving of structures, including applying for and obtaining permits
Cinnabar is experienced in coordinating the development and implementation of demolition and site management plans, including hazardous materials abatement, demolition, clearance, disposal, and site restoration.
Property Security and Management
Large scale projects involving demolition and clearance of acquired land may require special property management and security services. Cinnabar is capable of securing large, contiguous or non-contiguous tracts, including management of security personnel, and providing weed, animal, vector, and dust and erosion control during demolition and clearance phases.
In certain circumstances occupants of residences and business are allowed to remain in their property for a period of weeks or months as “renters” prior to being required to vacate. Cinnabar is experienced in acting as landlord for tenants remaining for these short durations and in collecting and properly handling rent payments in behalf of the client.
